The Metabones Canon EF to Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k lens adaptor increases the maximum aperture by 1-stop, increases MTF and makes the lens 0.71x wider. Thus allowing a wider image to fit onto the sensor of the camera. 

Lens iris/aperture is set by the controls on the camera body. The adaptor features smooth iris support compatible with the latest Canon (2009 onwards), Tamron (SP series 2013 onwards) and Sigma (2016 onwards) lens models. It offers image stabilisation (IS) lens support, push autofocus where supported by camera and cinema EOS lens support (CN-E 18-80mm T4.4 L). The adaptor is powered by camera body. With nearly all lenses, no external power source is required.
